Patterns
Four patterns that tend to show up for most people I work with. Some recognize themselves in one of those and sometimes in more.

Stillness that doesn‘t last.
Stillness that doesn‘t last.
Some of us experience deep stillness when they practice. However, when they get out of practice they find themselves losing the direct perception of his stillness again within 20 minutes after the practice over. For some of us deep stillness in practice vanishes immediatelyfor example with the urge to complete another task or thoughts around problems that need no urgent attending. Often below these patterns is a certain belief that blocks them, meaning for most it is not a practice problem at all and as a result does not significantly improve with practice alone. Mostly we can uncover those beliefs within the coaching format. If you like to find out if that is what is holding back your stabilization of stillness or have questions, you may start a conversation below.

Same pattern, different day.
Same pattern, different day.
Some of us are experiencing patterns that they simply cannot explain but that keep unfolding nevertheless. Those patterns can be frustrating and may even feel as if they are part of the individuals personality or almost like part of their DNA. For example, one may feel the urge to establish a project, but whenever a project starts to actually take fruit, procrastination and sabotaging the project kicks in resulting in below possible project outcome. The above one is just one example of many possible patterns that seem mysterious and not workable to change. Importantly, we can in many cases get to the bottom of what is holding unknown patterns in place within this coaching format. If you recognize yourself in this and want to explore or have question, please reach out below.

Big insight, little change.
Big insight, little change.
Some of us know the patterns inside and out. They may have such deep knowledge and explanation for why they occur. I often witness this in individuals who have sat a lot of insight practices such as Vipassana meditation and in those who have taken a serious amount of classical psychotherapy. Sometimes with such a knowledge about the patterns it may feel like this is what its going to be until the end of time. It doesn‘t have to be. It is not the understanding that holds the pattern in check, but the hidden beliefs that run the system in the background. If you are open to uncover what has been holding you back through all this time of understanding or have questions, reach out below.

Teaching while plateaued.
Teaching while plateaued.
Some of us are in a teaching position and may do that very well. Nevertheless, deepening practice never ends. At times it may feel as if there exist expectations from the students that the teacher must be fully accomplished, and for some students this may even be a true belief. Teachers as a result may sometimes feel as if they have no space to speak about their own plateaus and develop out of them. I offer a confidential space in which we can work through plateaus that are held by underlying beliefs that can be solved within the coaching format. If you have questions or would like to work on those plateaus, reach out to me.

Frequently Asked Questions.
Some answers to some of the most common questions. Didn't find your answer? Send me a message.
Who is this for?
Experienced practitioners who keep meeting the same pattern which practice could not resolve. A willingness and openness and curiosity to look at your own experience will be helpful.

Who is this not for?
Who is this not for?
Individuals in acute crisis, if you are in psychiatric treatment or have recently been, if you lose time or cannot recall parts of conversations, if you are currently destabilized ie. from a retreat.
In such a situation it means that I cannot be of help and that other things should be prioritized first. If I notice, I may point you towards people who are in a position to support you. This is coaching and not therapy and I do not diagnose or treat anything.
How is this different from therapy?
How is this different from therapy?
Most therapy builds insight, regulation or a corrective relationship over time. In therapy clients learn to understand their past and manage their pattern better. Therapy often work with the past and often with individuals who struggle to function in their day to day life.
What I do is coaching. I care about what is still present and how beliefs shape todays experiences of my clients. I also work narrower: I track one belief which my client decides to work on, and work toward resolving it rather than managing it. I work with stable clients functioning in day to day life.
I don‘t do clinical work. I am not a therapist, counsellor or mental health professional. I do not diagnose or treat people.
Should I stop working with my teacher or therapist?
Should I stop working with my teacher or therapist?
Nope. Your teacher guides your practice and your therapist covers ground that I cannot cover. We work on a specific belief that results in undesirable patterns and can do this alongside whatever support network you may have in place.
If you are in therapy, its worth telling your therapist about it, as its good that the people who support you closely know whats happening. Also, I would be grateful to hear if you work with a therapist.
As it is online, how do i best prepare for the session?
As it is online, how do i best prepare for the session?
Not much preparation needed. A quiet room without distraction and preferably nothing heavy or big right after the call. I suggest an extra 15 minute spare time at minimum just to let things settle but its not mandatory at all. I had clients move on to meetings right after the call and that worked for them as well. I prefer to take things easy afterwards and so I suggest similar to my clients.
Headphones help. A stable internet connection and functioning camera matter more.
If you have a clear pattern on your mind for the session, great, if not we‘ll get there together.
What if I don't know what my pattern is?
What if I don't know what my pattern is?
thats okey. Most people don‘t know it precisely. Knowing that something is stuck is good enough and we can work with that. Finding whats below this is part of the work I do so its not at all expected, though some people come in with clarity already. Both is fine.

Get in Touch
The first session costs nothing.
Tell me what‘s been going on. A few sentences is enough.
I answer everything myself and I‘ll let you know honestly if I‘m the right person to work with. If I don‘t think I am I will try to point you somewhere better.
